2025–26 Summer Health Professions Education Program Alumni Scholarship

Use the link below to start a new application or to return to an application you already started. Once you are logged in to the application portal, you may also click "Incomplete" in the left-hand menu panel to open an existing application. You will be required to use your ADEA account login credentials to access the application portal.
Note: To apply for this scholarship, only a completed application form is required. Supplemental documentation, such as a resume, transcript, or letter of recommendation, is not needed.

Rubens J. Pamies, MD, Opportunity Fund (currently accepting applications)

The Rubens J. Pamies, MD, Opportunity Fund was established to provide financial assistance to past participants of the Summer Health Professions Education Program (SHPEP), Summer Medical and Dental Education Program (SMDEP), Summer Medical Education Program (SMEP) or Minority Medical Education Program (MMEP), who are applying to a professional or graduate degree program related to a health profession. Every year, four outstanding applicants are selected to receive a $500 award from the scholarship fund. Scholarship recipients can use the funds to cover expenses such as application fees, admissions test fees, admissions test preparation courses, or travel costs for interviews.
